It would be great if Arsenal takes the title…..always a Fan of the underdog…and they sure were at the beginning of the season!!
@· do u even know the meaning of underdogs……r England, Germany, Brazil, underdogs in World Cup…….big clubs & nations are expected to compete for titles & trophies every season if they don’t compete then they r underperforming……
@· if u r saying that arsenal r underdogs then u r calling them a small club who r not expected to compete or win anything
@The redeemer a big club can’t be competitive all the time. You’re living in a fantasy world where the big clubs are always winning. Arsenal are underdogs this season without question. Man City are the favorites in majority of people’s eyes
@· Not anymore. City are the ones looking fragile, scraping results. Arsenal will drop points but this narrative that City are gonna win every game from now til the end of the season is laughable. They have been average this year
What a talent Sturridge was, shame he peaked in 2014, and injuries destroyed his career.
@CD LMFAO
He peaked ?
N betting
Injuries and being in mtv awards in the usa
it’s crazy how arsenal don’t get the same respect for grinding out results, look at villa and bournemouth of late… or games where we’ve gone behind early and came back…. previous arsenal teams wouldn’t win them games. we were told we would crumble in october, december, january, february, we’re still top, the title is far from done but i think we can do it
I agree. I genuinely believe this hate and jealousy stems back from the Wenger era. Playing beautiful football and going invincible really created this agenda of hate from other teams, pundits etc.
@Kier156 You have objectively struggled more as the season has gone on mate. In the first 18 games of the season you were winning at the 80th minute in 14 of those.
In your last 8 games you’ve been winning at the 80th minute in 2 of those. Whether you like it or not it’s been a lot more shaky. City have been here before whereas you guys have a younger list and it’s starting to show.
Grinding out results isn’t scoring dodgy last minute winners week in week out, grinding out is 1-0 wins where the opposition don’t really have a big chance
@Davin Staines that’s been the case the whole time jesus has been injured. People said we’d crumble. We’ve found a way to get results and Jesus is nearly back. I’m not as worried as I was a few months ago for sure and I think we look better than we have at any point since before jesus got injured.
@Kier156 I think you’re deluding yourself if you think that you look better now then before he was injured but go ahead and live those fantasies mate they may just come true.
Sturridge-Sterling-Suarez was an amazing thing. Pity the defence wasn”t in the same class.
@Bass Acoustic
Ronaldo-Rooney-Tevez is the best front three in PL history
@Bass Acoustic Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez won a Premier League & UCL double. Enough said really
@Wayne Donoghue that’s fair. That front three was incredible.
Skertl was class
Nice to see Daniel sturridge what a talented player he was a few years ago injuries blighted him unfortunately but the front three he was in at liverpool was brilliant at the time I recall 😁
Good on Daniel for not having club bias. He’s seen plenty enough of the premier league to understand what Arsenal are capable of!
@German Chickenwing Harry Kane is an arsenal academy product… but we will never claim him 😂
I went to school with him. He was an Arsenal fan back then.
@Captain Hindsight nice captain hindsight
He was an arsenal fan
@Deniz Pekri key word was
I liked Sturridge. He could have been one of the best in the world if it wasn’t for injuries
Sturridge was world class on his day I remember him scoring that beauty in the Europa league final
Sturridge was great on tonight’s show. Really loved the analysis on Haaland at the end
Micah is a great pundit,never biased like Neville
Is that a joke?
There’s no such thing as an bias, it’s not humanly possible. The key is whether somebody recognises that they are bias.
Sturridge was the player that made me watch football so glad to see him back in some way I was 13 wow how time flies YNWA
Sturridge is made for this. Got a great personality plus was a baller in his peak
I will love to see Daniel with Carra, Henry, Micah, and Kate! He is class, unbiased, and loved by most of the teams he played for! I will never forget his 13/14 partnership with Suarez (aka SaS) and the header he scored against PSG in the opening UCL game for the 18/19 campaign!
That’s a different channel…
Football channels are saturated with Carra and Micah. You really want to see that two stuffing their faces on CBS sport?.
This was an absolutely class video. Sturridge and Richards are two of the most sound pundits out there, very unbiased and composed takes
I agree mate. You can see them being great guys off the camera
Richards is the opposite
@sal Richards has great energy. He is quite nice on Arsenal compared to some (cough, cough)
Sturbridge came across well for his 1st time as pundit
did you see the unedited version , danny saying micah was an arsenal supporter from his 2007 comments lol
Pundit is a stretch.. for both of ‘em.
Actually really refreshing to see Sturridge. He seems to have good knowledge of the game and would love to see more of him on sky. Would be a nice change. @skysports if you see this, more of Sturridge please thanks.
You have a man crush on him 😂
Definitely, this was class.
👌👌
Sturridge is brilliant! I remember him also being extremely funny on Liverpool videos, man I miss him at his peak what a player!
Daniel Sturridge was such a joy to watch. Glad Sky got him contributing.
Sturridge was on form, one of the most skillful Liverpool strikers I have seen…
Pity he was injured a lot…but he’ll never be forgotten.
CL winner in 2019.
The contrast between the calm professionalism here and the banter on Micahs UCL show with Jamie and Thierry though
Good to see Daniel again, his career skyrocketed in 2013/14 and then dramatically fell off a cliff with injuries and then a football ban. I’m glad to see him again doing well for himself.
